Peppermint, Fennel, Lemon and a hint of Ginger make this a lovely, settling evening tea
Long Summer Evening
Dinner is done and the sun won't set for another few hours. With a backdrop of cooling evening air and the cacophony of the cicadas' or the kookaburra's song, let's recline outside and chat the long evening away.
"Long Summer Evening" is an all natural herbal blend with a delicate note of anise. Sprinkled with peppermint, lemon, cinnamon and blackberry leaves, Long Summer Evening is a delightful tummy settling caffeine-free blend.
The rules with brewing Rooibos are...there are no rules. Rooibos does not become bitter from oversteeping! Basically, the more you use and the longer you let it steep - the deeper the flavour. 1 tsp per cup is recommended. However, we personally find 1/2 tsp is sufficient. Bring fresh, filtered (if possible) water to the boil and steep for 3 - 5 minutes - or whatever works for you! Taste it first as it's fabulous unaccompanied but you can add lemon to taste, or sweeten and/or add milk.
