"Silk Kimono" brings to the mind images of Torii (the typical Japanese gate/arch structures), elegant women in kimonos and cherry blossoms filling the air. Kyoto, Japan has more than 1,000 Torii and a very high ratio of tea rooms! During the Spring, this area is ablaze with cherry blossoms and the air is filled with sweet aroma. The rose petals in this blend simulate these cherry blossoms, and the flavour is reminiscent of the beautiful smells that waft on the springtime breeze. We only use very high quality, high grown teas, and blend with a sweet cherry natural flavour and subtle rose hints to bring you "Silk Kimono".
Bring fresh, filtered (if possible) water to the boil. Steep 1 small tsp per cup for 3 - 7 minutes. Milk and sugar are not recommended, but add what you like. Be careful not to over-steep as the tea will become bitter. Quality green tea can be resteeped several times, as long as you are not steeping for too long at a time. Ensure you take the leaves out of the water and you can add fresh water up to 4 times.
